Love this! Big foody here, and I feel recommendations from friends are always the best. Best of luck for the launch!
Hi, I'm Tim - maker of Feast! Feast is the first app I've launched and first product on Product Hunt! Hope you guys like it :)
I'm planning on doing a huge refactor soon and would love any feedback/feature requests. If you are interested in the mission and would want to work with me on it, don't hesitate to reach out as well!
@macvirgo14 thanks Mario! The app was originally built in React Native but I'm planning on shifting over to native iOS/Android. I'm looking to develop iOS first and since I'm a solo dev right now, it will be a bit before the Android version comes out😬

this makes me remember a product called: exping.world.
You seem to be stuck with rating restaurants, the change in this product is the rating power to has been given to the user's friends.
The exping.world is straightforward from sharing a food map to friends, which seems to me to be more straightforward and more communicative.
@mad_lifer Oh cool, yeah I'll definitely check it out! Thanks for letting me know👍

This is really incredible! I'm always skeptical about online reviews. Don't know which are real and which ones are paid. My friends and I are massive foodies so we can always use this and share new places we discover with each other.
A few questions out of curiosity: Why would someone choose to open and check out Feast instead of Google reviews? If it's just on the basis of friends' reviews wouldn't it be pointless if you can't get your friends on Feast? And when it says 4.5 stars from 72 reviews, does it aggregate from all reviews or just your friends'?
Anyway, that's a pretty cool and nice looking interface - it looks really clean and well made. Congrats on the launch!
@florian_pranata_hidayat thanks Florian! Yep, having friends on the app would provide most of the value from using it. The way that the product hopes to be different from Google/Yelp is that reviews are more closed network and casual, where you can know what your friends think rather than from random people. In addition, there's a lot more posting and engagement because it also serves as a social network.
@imogene_caithness I would love for it to be available on Android. However, I ran into some performance issues with React Native while testing it and decided it would be best to just go the native route, meaning I'll have to develop it separately, which will take some time. Hoping to get it out as soon as I can though!
