by•
The Fathom you know, leveled up. The best AI notetaking, now with bot-free capture, account-wide AI search & insights, Claude + ChatGPT integrations, live summaries & in-meeting scratchpads, and a redesigned desktop experience. And we’re not stopping there. It’s the most flexible meeting AI ever built.

The bot-free approach is a huge deal. In finance, meeting context is everything — deal terms get discussed verbally, and if the notes are off, downstream decisions suffer. I host a podcast on financial modelling (ModeLoop Podcast on Spotify) and accurate transcription of technical finance discussions is genuinely hard. The Claude integration is interesting — curious whether it handles domain-specific terminology like DSCR, IRR waterfalls, and covenant structures well out of the box.
@samir_asadov Samir, bot-free in finance is a game changer - totally agree that accuracy at that level is non-negotiable. On the terminology question, while our transcripts tend to be very dialed-in out of the box, we also have a dictionary feature that lets you add domain-specific terms to improve accuracy: https://help.fathom.video/en/articles/6114753 - should help a lot with DSCR, IRR waterfalls, and the like 🙌
I've really enjoyed using it over the last couple of years, first with teammates at work, and then eventually found some use cases in my personal life. I love having a catalog of video recordings to look back on and track trends, conversations, little moments of joy with friends and colleagues alike. I'm excited about the MCP support that's coming out that will make it even easier to search using natural language. Excited to try out 3.0!

I've been waiting for these changes. So excited to check them out!
@billchirico Bill, great question - that one's part of our secret sauce! 😄

Honestly, this is a really awesome product. Fathom's def the best notetaker on the market, incredibly excited for this release!
Is it Free to use
@harshit_kumar47 Harshit, yes - Fathom has a free plan! You can get started at fathom.ai 🎉
The bot-free capture is the detail I keep coming back to. So many tools send a "Fathom has joined the meeting" bot that kills the vibe in executive conversations. How does bot-free actually work on the technical side — is it local audio capture on the desktop app, or something else? And does it work for both sides of the call or just your own audio?
@sounak_bhattacharya Sounak, great question! Bot-free capture works via local audio capture, and yes, it captures all participants, not just your side. If you have any follow-up questions, our support team is happy to help at help@fathom.video 🙌
I just started using Fathom, and I was very impressed. I'm extremely skeptical of AI and think that it's doing more damage than good to our society. But, a use case like Fathom is exactly how we should be thinking about AI. It's doing the busy work that no one wants to do (i.e. notetaking) and that doesn't require creativity or other more human skills.
@tom_mccormack Tom, this is one of my favorite comments of the day - useful AI that gets out of the way and lets humans be human is exactly what we're going for 🙌
Fathom has changed my life! It takes notes during my sessions (as a psychologist) and summarizes the sessions for me, better than I can!
@dr_alli Allison, really glad to hear Fathom is showing up for such meaningful work 🙏
I've been using Fathom for a while. It has great Hebrew transcriptions and summaries. I'm really looking forward to the flexibility to record the full video when it makes sense, and have the less awkward bot-free capture option in other cases.
Looking forward to the ability to record notes IRL using the iphone app next!
@yuval_yeret1 Yuval, really glad Hebrew transcriptions and summaries are landing well - that matters to us! And yes, the flexibility to choose how you capture is exactly the point. iOS for in-person meetings is on the way - stay tuned 🙌
