Faraday Future are making a lot of big promises, but there's also BIG talent in that company. Will be interesting to see what they produce over the next few years. Also looking forward to Elon's inevitable salty reaction!

I guess this is their high end early adopter car (ie. their roadster) that will give them the runway necessary to launch a more mainstream car next. The design is definitely unique and beautiful, but comes off as a bit too Formula 1 racecar to me, needs to be toned down.

@ghobs91 also a bit frustrating that they are articulating the same go-to-market as Tesla (high-end first)

I've seen a car company before over promise and under deliver, oh yes they were called "Fisker" they are now in bankruptcy protection. Regardless goodluck inventing the future!

Crazy, I've been seeing this everywhere. Kind of like the bat mobile....

If they intended to make me feel like I'm in a futuristic movie where there's mystery deaths, corporate corruption, and thrilling investigations by an attractive duo of a lawyerette and a security guard that just happened to be there they of the incident, they really succeeded. If not, then meh it's all basically 100% marketing blabber.

Once it begins to be something closer to Toyota's i-Road then it will start to get interesting. http://blog.toyota.co.uk/toyota-...

@tomflemming Yup! I agree with you, we need transportation efficiency not fanciness.

Looks super cool, but hope it is more than just ideas.

Does anyone besides Faraday Future think there's anything here? To me it looks like concept art from 2003. Far from the "Tesla killer" the media was making it out to be. If that was their impression, they don't understand Tesla's intent.

This presentation was pretty painful – and I really hope they decide against docking your smartphone in the steering wheel. :) Much more intrigued by the other car silhouette they briefly showed.
