FadeLink - Share encrypted text and images that disappear

by
FadeLink is a privacy-first way to share sensitive text and images without leaving them online forever. Every item is encrypted with a separate password, and the password is never stored or included in the link. Choose a 5-second view, a custom 10–60-second countdown, or access until automatic deletion after 24 hours. One-time items are erased as soon as they’re unlocked, while your dashboard keeps metadata—not the content itself.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built FadeLink because sharing sensitive information often means leaving it permanently buried in a chat, inbox, or cloud account. FadeLink offers a simpler alternative: share encrypted text or images through a password-protected link. The password is sent separately and never stored or included in the URL. You can make content visible for 5 seconds, choose a custom 10–60-second countdown, or allow repeat access until it is automatically deleted after 24 hours. One-time content is erased after the first successful unlock, and even the sender’s dashboard never displays the original content. The first version is intentionally simple and free. Every account receives five shares every 30 days. I’d love to hear your feedback: when would you use FadeLink, and what would make you trust a disappearing-content tool?
