FaceReplaced - Create 3D face filters from a single photo

FaceReplaced is a brand new way to create 3D face filters out of virtually anything! Just snap a photo or import one, erase the background, and like magic it creates a mask for you. It works on pets, humans, stuffed animals, household objects, PNG images...

Hi Product Hunt! Let me know if you have any questions about FaceReplaced. I've been building silly apps around Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Augmented Reality for the past couple years. I'm happy to hear any suggestions or criticisms as well!
I was lucky enough to be part of the beta and this is just so much fun! A really great implementation of what ARKit can do at its best with face recognition. Super quick and simple to use too! Try it!
thanks Romain!
I love this! Are the any plans to make a Mac app? Would love to join a video call with these!
you can use this with Zoom and other conference apps (screen share on phone). Long press to hide the controls. No Mac app at the moment :)
Oh cool, will give it a shot. Thanks!
Nice work! Might be cool to have some built-in masks that people can use without importing anything.
Thanks! I've considered adding that feature as well as sharing masks between users
Oh cool! I really like the sharing masks feature too!
Fun product :D that made my day.
thanks Petr!
Is there an Android version?
Not at the moment -- I'm a one person team so I can only develop one platform at a time, unfortunately!
I'll anxiously await! Very cool!
This looks like a lot of fun lol
Entertaining :D
that is WoW!
thanks Paul!
I think the result so far is pretty average...
only room for improvement then 😅. The main differentiator here is using depth to create 3D masks - I’m not sure if anything else out there does that. If you have suggestions for how to improve, let me know!
