Making BBPress forums easier to navigate with a simple AI layer

by

I’ve been experimenting with a simple way to make BBpress forum content easier to use for visitors.

The setup is pretty straightforward and only takes a few steps:

1. Install the plugin
You can load it like any standard WordPress plugin.

2. Add the chatbot to your site
You have a few options depending on your setup:

  • automatic display

  • manual insertion (shortcode)

  • or a floating bubble

3. Run a scan
Once launched, the chatbot scans your content — including forum topics and replies.

That’s it.

From there, the chatbot can read across multiple discussions and return a synthesized answer when a visitor asks a question.

Instead of:
searching → opening multiple topics → reading replies one by one

Visitors can simply:
ask a question → get a structured answer → access links to the original topics/replies

It doesn’t replace the forum — it just makes the content more directly usable, especially for people who are new and don’t know where to look.

If you are a BBPress forum manager, I'll be happy to connect in order to better understand their needs and adapt the plugin accordingly.
