I built ExportReader because my own ChatGPT export was a total mess. Thousands of chats, impossible to find the good stuff again.
So this tool does the basics really well:
• Fast search
• Tags + filtering
• Snippet saving
• Clean UI
• Zero bloat
If you try it, let me know what’s confusing, missing, or annoying — I’ll fix it fast.
Hope it helps someone else who lives inside ChatGPT like I do.
Thanks for checking it out ❤️
@chilarai Thank you! I hope you enjoy it and find it useful

Quick little update!
I’ve just added a Mood Insights page — a simple snapshot showing the emotional tone across your past AI chats (30-day trend, most positive conversations, and the trickier ones too).
If you’ve uploaded an export, you’ll see it now under the “Mood” tab. More refinements coming tonight/tomorrow. 😊

Quick update since launch 👋
A few people asked whether chats could be shared publicly rather than staying fully private.
You can now choose to make individual ChatGPT chats public, each with their own permanent page, while keeping everything else private by default.
This keeps ExportReader privacy-first, but lets you surface specific conversations if they’re useful to share, reference, or index.

Another little update. Have added Claude exports support today - chat's now show whether the imported chat is via ChatGPT or Claud - powershell commands and py snippets etc are highlighted nicely :]

We’ve been quietly improving ExportReader based on early user feedback. Recent updates include better navigation, favourites for important chats, a light theme option, and clearer help docs.
Still early, still learning — appreciate everyone who’s taken the time to share thoughts.
