Gorgeous product photography. Nicely organized. It was ten minutes between when I had downloaded it and when I made my first bid.

I used to be addicted to EBTH for local estate sales but then they started sending everything up to Blue Ash, Ohio. Now if you see something in a local estate sale that should be inexpensive, you have to pay crazy shipping fees that far exceed the value of the item. The only thing you can pick up for free now is the large furniture. I used to recommend EBTH to everyone, but now I have to warn them about it since these changes. Since the makers are on here, can you explain why this change was made? It used to be great to get good deals on items when you could pick them up for free. I've been seeing a lot of things I'd be interested in having, that no one is bidding on because of the shipping costs.

@oprylamb Shipping is one of the most complicated parts of our business! Every item we sell needs to be individually packed, and the labor and materials alone can cost up to $20-$30. Even when we left items in their local markets, more than half shipped. Driving the packing and shipping costs down is a major focus for us, and was a big reason we bagan moving more items to a centralized processing facility. That change has allowed us to lower shipping fees by around 30%. Our item values have also continued to rise during this transition, resulting in higher proceeds for our sellers. Thanks for your interest, and happy bidding!

Buyer beware. I had a very negative experience recently (and as of this date, it still has not been resolved). I received 8 dink f chairs that were presented in pics and in the description of being in fair condition. They showed one repairs which was done in one of the chairs which was acceptable to us. Once we received the chairs, we were shocked that they were glued together and missing wood and contained gouged wood and rotted fragments (they were, essentially, in very poor condition). After calling customer service immediately upon inspection, and several follow up calls...I did not get it ouch with anyone until I was transferred (4 days later) to Stephen in customer service. He who was rude, dismissive and basically told me he would do nothing as it was only “my opinion” and they would not do anything about it, despite the photos I offered to send him which evidenced the discordance between what I received and how they were marketed on the website. I Am currently in the process of working with another EBTH employee to resolve. We’re not only out the money we bid, additionally my husband and I had to undergo the expense of taking time off of work and to get a truck to pick up there items from the warehouse. BUYER BEWARE.

Pros:

Some good bargains ONLY if you know what to look for and you are aware of quality and condition.

Cons:

If You have an issue, customer service is non-existent. condition of items is often misrepresented on their web site and omitted in photos.

In September 2021 I purchased item - (ITMG936497) Bottega Veneta Matte Silver Tone Mirrored Aviators from Ebth.  An online auction.  The item was defective.  I bought the item to my local Bottega Veneta store located in Miami to see if anything could be done.  They contacted their headquarters in Italy and reported back to me that the glasses I bought were counterfeit.  EBTH refuses to acknowledge this and insisted that I take my time to contact Bottega Veneta again and get the information in "Writing".  I do not believe it is my roll as the buyer to prove that this product is a counterfeit since I have already spent too much of my time on the purchase.  I supplied the Name and Address for EBTH to follow up on the info they required but they refused.  Buyer beware when buying brand named product from the company with no integrity and unknowledgeable "Experts."

Certain fiber types in isolation, particularly inulin, are also fermented especially rapidly by your gut bugs, which can trigger bloating and gas. And because some prebiotic drinks just have a more concentrated dose of the stuff than a whole food—not to mention, it’s easier to down a few of them than to eat, say, Sesame CUSTOMER SERVICE +1 (8O5)-3O1 7O71

It’s worth noting that peoples’ responses to different added fibers vary considerably, Lauren Manaker, RDN, a Charleston-based registered dietitian, tells SELF. How tolerant you are can depend not only on the particular fiber you’re consuming but also on your typical diet and the unique composition of your microbiome, she says. (Cassetty does point out, however, that in comparison to other prebiotic fibers, soluble corn starch—the kind in Simply Pop—tends to be a little bit gentler on the GI system, as it ferments more slowly than some of its counterparts.)
