Auto-extending - The most flexible way to build

Forget yet another BI tool. Build fully automated dashboards with the flexibility and familiarity of a spreadsheet. With native connections to your data, Equals automatically updates your charts and tables as needed, so you never have to.

Thanks to Equals, one can concentrate on data collection, transformation, and analysis, because then the visualisation is just "a spreadsheet" away. Dashboards look really nice, and they are super easy and intuitive to build. No knowledge of BI tools is required, one just needs to be able to create a table in a spreadsheet and then build a chart on it. As the only data professional at Levity, I can afford to spend most of my brain power on creating data models, because I know that then, thanks to Equals, the insights, and the charts are just a few clicks away. Equals is the perfect complement to the Modern Data Stack - setting up the data warehouse, and building data models with dbt is already a big task, it does not make sense to spend time learning how to use a complex BI tool when one can just use Equals's enhanced spreadsheet and connect it to the central source of truth in no time. What I love about Equals is also transparency, whenever I want to check that the insights I am presenting are correct or do a deep dive, I can just switch Sheet, take a look at the raw data coming directly from BigQuery, and build a pivot table to check the aggregates. Congrats to the Equals team for the launch.

How are you solving the reality that access (technical and permission) and governance (legal and technical), not pretty visuals, are the primary problem of BI in more mature organizations? Or is your focus on the long tail where that isn't true?

@bobbypinero this is just wonderful! Huge value on top of an already revolutionary platform 🚀

Whoa, this is really good. I'll give it a go with a few consulting clients and see how it works. I've bee cobbling together Zapier, sheets, and data studio.
