How do you share passwords and API keys today?

I'm launching Encoder on Sept 29, and before that I'd like to understand how people actually handle this in real life.

When you need to send someone a password, an API key or a recovery code, what do you do?

• Paste it in Slack/WhatsApp and hope for the best?

• Use a password manager's share feature?

• A one-time link tool like Privnote or OneTimeSecret?

• Read it out over a call?

And a follow-up: has a shared secret ever come back to bite you (an old chat, a forwarded screenshot, a leaked backup)?

I built Encoder because I kept leaving secrets in chat history forever. It encrypts in your browser and the link opens once, but I'd rather hear about your setup first than pitch. Thanks for any thoughts 🙏
