Preparing for launch: the visitors who leave without saying a word
Hey everyone, I'm Sheril, co-founder of elSapiens. We build software for businesses.
A client of ours, a spice wholesaler, spent money bringing people to their website. People came, looked around and left. Nobody was there to say, "Can I help you?" A good shopkeeper notices what you're looking at and steps in. Websites don't.
Analytics tells you where visitors left, after they're gone. Chatbots wait for visitors to type. Neither helps in the moment.
So we built elNudge, an AI concierge for your website, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook.
It reads each visitor live: what they read, where they pause, what they keep coming back to, and proactively speaks first with a message made for that person when they seem stuck, confused or need a little push. And it replies to every message, 24x7.
Here's elNudge speaking first on their site:

We launch here on 4 November. Until then, I'd love to hear from you:
Would a website that speaks first feel helpful to you, or pushy?
What's made you leave a site without buying?

As someone who runs a small business, this hits home. We get visitors but have no idea what they were looking for when they left. Does elNudge also tell you what visitors were interested in, even if they don't buy?
I'd find it helpful if it offered shipping or minimum-order details beside the product I was viewing. A pause alone wouldn't be enough reason to open a chat, and dismissing it should stop further prompts for that visit.
Losing potential customers without knowing why is a real challenge. I like what elNudge is building here. Would be interesting if it could pinpoint where visitors lose interest and suggest ways to improve conversions.
That could make it much more than a chat tool.
