Why I Built?

I built ElasticScope while working with Elasticsearch on a daily basis and needing a simpler, more practical way to manage clusters.

My goal was to bring common Elasticsearch operations into a single, clean interface that focuses on day-to-day workflows rather than isolated features. I wanted better visibility into clusters and indices, an efficient REST API workflow, and a setup process that doesn’t get in the way.

ElasticScope is designed as a lightweight, web-based tool that helps make Elasticsearch operations more organized and approachable.

The project is fully open-source, and I plan to keep improving it based on real-world usage and community feedback.
