Drooid provides quick, unbiased news summaries by pulling information from multiple sources. The idea is to show different perspectives so you can get a complete picture of what’s happening, with no bias and no fluff.
After two years of hard work, experimentation, and countless iterations, we are incredibly proud to finally launch Drooid.
What began as a simple idea to make news consumption faster, more balanced, and less overwhelming has grown into a product built to address one of today’s most pressing challenges: misinformation and media fatigue.
We have spent two years building an AI system that reads thousands of articles daily, compares multiple perspectives, and delivers concise 60-word summaries that focus on the facts. No noise, no clickbait, just the core of each story. But Drooid is more than just summaries. You can engage with stories, share your views, and explore how different sources report the same event so that you can form your own opinion.
Drooid is built for professionals, critical thinkers, and anyone who wants to stay informed without falling into echo chambers or spending hours scrolling. It is for people who value clarity and want a better way to navigate the news.
This launch is just the beginning. We are committed to improving the app with your feedback and continuing to make news more accessible, transparent, and trustworthy.
Thank you to everyone who supported us along the way. We are excited to finally put Drooid in your hands and would love to hear your thoughts.

As exciting as this sounds unfortunately the play store says "This app is not available for your device" (nothing 2a) :/
@stefaniya_sparysheva Thanks, Stefani. My team and I have put a lot of effort into building Drooid.

The summary format avoids lengthy content and information overload, catering to the needs of modern fast-paced living. Can news from around the world be seen on it?
@evakk Yes, Evan. You can follow news around the world. In addition to that, you get additional information about any entity (Person, Event, Organisation, etc). So you get more context compared to any other news platform available in the market. While doing this, our main focus is on keeping it crisp and avoiding information overload for the users. Thanks for your comment. It allowed me to talk about things that are not on our front page.
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! I really love the 60-word summary feature. By the way, can I view news articles by selecting different countries?
@kay_arkain Kay Kwak, at the moment, we don't have an option to select countrywise news, however, you can choose a topic or an entity (Person, Place, Organisation) you want to read a news about. Plus, we have built a search function so you can look up any information that interests you.

Great work, I would love to consume news that is neutral. Do these summaries use full articles from sources that are behind a paywall? All the best!
As a veteran news Junkie it always scares me to see the degregation of the 4th estate. we need better educated citizenry with media savvy to cut through the lies. Congrats on the launch,.your product comes at a vital time. I can't wait to try it out.
@terrence_kelleman Thanks, Terrence. I’m not a veteran like you, but I can understand where you come from.
I realized I had started relying more and more on Twitter for news, and it was only reinforcing my own bias. When I looked at the broader media landscape, it became clear that many news publishers were just pushing one side of the story, often tied to a particular agenda.
I didn’t set out to build a news app, I just wanted to consume information that wasn’t filtered through a single lens.

Unbiased news aggregation is refreshing! Great job! 👀
I'm subscribed to multiple newsletters in order to get news from different perspectives. This could clean up my inbox so much. 🤩
Have you thought of doing a newsletter for this? I've got so many apps on my phone that I usually forget about the ones that aren't really necessary. But I check my email everyday, which is why newsletters have worked for me so far...
