This is neat. Install Drift's communications system for your website and then you'll be able to interact with visitors without leaving Slack!

@hnshah is this any different than Talkus or Chatlio?
Arun Pattnaik
@hnshah This looks *very* promising. A demo would be really nice :)

@hnshah I second Sam Legge's comment - it appears you have some nice integrations...maybe you could talk more about how Drift connects to Mixpanel or one of those other tools you have on your pricing page?
Dave Gerhardt
@arunpattnaik hey Arun - happy to give you a demo or if you're like me and would prefer to just play around on your own you can just set up a free account.

Using Slaask at the moment, pretty good so far! Great support team too!

@hnshah Do you see this as an alternative to Intercom or something to use in conjunction with it?

Hey all, thanks for the feedback! I'm the CEO of Drift and am happy to answer any questions. We're a messaging tool for Businesses to better connect with their Customers. Slack is one of integrations, we also support in-app announcements and surveys like NPS and integrations with most of the popular tools businesses use today like Mixpanel, HubSpot, Zendesk, and 100s more via direct, Segment and Zapier integrations.

The Slack page on your site says "It's 100% free" -- does that mean it's not limited by the cap of 100 actions/mo like your free plan on your pricing page?
Dave Gerhardt
@jtown_ hey Justin - thanks for commenting. it is limited by the 100 cap. so it's 100% free - until then :)

Hi. Just signed up to have a look and the slack integration page does not work.

@mywoisme Sorry about that, we fixed that this morning.

I'm a reluctant adopter of more WebApps and have used way too many in the past. Slack and Drift are two primary tools we use. We used them independently before this integration. Combined use of them makes both products better and has increased our adoption. The key benefits of the integration is that our entire team has visibility to Drift notifications and we can use Slack directly to respond through the Drift chat pane. This gives us the benefit of limiting our number of environments and logins and improves response times. In addition the integration is strong because the Drift information that comes through from Slack provides intelligence on our visitor such as local time and their location as well as the page they are coming in from. It also makes it easy for our team to bring more team members into the conversation easily right from slack. The other additional benefit is that it provides mobility which allows us to expand our availability window beyond normal business hours since we have Slack on our phones.
