DreamDrone Fly and drive for 5 person. - Fly at a speed of 450 km\h and drive on the road like a car

by
Other VTOL´s like Joby or Volocopter need to build large vertiports - hubs for storage and additional infrastructure. DreamDron is free from this limitation because it can drive and can park in a standard parking lot after fly.

The DreamDrone is the first concept designed can to replace cars. From door to door as a personal car. You use the nearest platform where noise and dust during takeoff and landing do not interfere with anyone, and there can be many such sites like Tesla's chargers, because Thanks to the folding wings, the DreamDrone drives and parks like a car. 99% of EVTOL projects, such as my respected Joby, Volokopter, Ehang and all others, are not able to replace a car. They need vertiports because they can't be parked outside the house. Our concept solves this problem. The DreamDrone is the first concept designed can to replace cars. @jiriibaragozza How are air traffic rules regulated? DD can take off from anywhere?

@jiriibaragozza why do you think that now is right time for this project?
Dima Seregin
@jiriibaragozza ok, and what's your target audience here?
Vladislav Vershkov
@jiriibaragozza @new_user_186fe587d7 I think this time is the best Tyne for making the flying car. As you can see a lot of companies aimed to make smth like that. I think this time is the beginning of an era of flying cars.
Daria Vishlenkova
@jiriibaragozza can’t wait when your concept becomes true!) Sounds like my favorite science fiction books. What time period do you estimate for first working models?
Paul Nik
Good concept!

@bombeer10 Thank you, what do you think our chances of success are?

Roo Khan
Hi guys, but what about safety? The blades do not look safe to walk near the car
Jurii Baragozza
@roo_khan screws are located above 2.2 m it will be safe! takeoff and landing areas will be fenced off. How helicopters fly now - just the same

It is a bit surprising that this is the first concept, I am almost sure that I have seen similar attempts in popular mechanics! But of course this is the future and it’s generally bold to take a swing at this, respect for this already !!) in my opinion, the questions are cost, safety (emergency parachute?), flight time. Regarding the design - the first impression is a seed minivan. But that's not bad. well, driving stability is certainly not like a car if there is only one wheel at the back
Jurii Baragozza
@berkut47 There were others, you are right. But our concept in many technical aspects has been worked out more deeply and is devoid of a lack of other ideas. One wheel - in order to be certified for public roads
Akhror Agzamov
Hey, I love the idea it is hybrid so it is a 'down to earth' thing. Would love to learn more about specs, safety features and piloting experience!
Jurii Baragozza
@akhror_agzamov if on one side of the multicopter, for example, due to a collision with birds, the screws fail, then it will fall. Our DD in the same situation due to the swashplate can land safely. each of the modes has its own algorithms for an emergency. 1-2-3-4-5 algorithms. in a rejection situation. 1 screw in vertical mode is . - increase in power on opposite screws to parry the twist, and control of the swashplate. screws are located above 2.2 m it will be safe! takeoff and landing areas will be fenced off. How helicopters fly now - just the same
Jurii Baragozza
@akhror_agzamov First we will launch model 1, it will need a pilot's license, it will be possible to fly everywhere where helicopters are allowed, to obtain permits in the same way. After 2030, certification rules for remote piloting will be adopted, and after 2035, after the adoption of the rules for a digital pilot, the DreamDron will be completely autonomous - a pilot license will not be needed. In set the route as on the navigator and fly.
Lone Rider
Looks great! Can it be used on any road just as a car?
Jurii Baragozza
@lone_rider It will be possible to drive on ordinary roads at a speed of up to 50 km / h, this is enough to get from the site to the destination
Grigory Frantsuzov
Of two power sources described which do you personally prefer - ICE or the hydrogen system?
Jurii Baragozza
@new_user_11384fc25a My priority is batteries, if possible. Reality - ICE
Anatoly Bereznyak
Our near future. Good luck with the project!
Jurii Baragozza
@bereznyak it will be difficult, like many other projects here, but possible!!!
Dima Seregin
How long will it take to make first working prototype?
Jurii Baragozza
@sereginsky It depends on what we mean by the term prototype. )) scale model after 6 months. Demonstrator - 1:1 in 1.5 years Prototype after 3 years
Dany Chepenko
Not really common to see such kind of products on PH, but great to have such diversity! Congratulations on the launch How can I become a beta tester?
Jurii Baragozza
@daniel_chepenko It's not often you see products like this on PH, but it's great that there's so much variety! Congratulations on the launch How can I become a beta tester? Thank you! You've upvoted, so you'll be among the first list to test drive. Beta tester - there will be test pilots
