Hi PH! πŸ‘‹ Alex here. I am one of the founders of DocuSeal. We’ve been working on this project for the past 6 months collaborating with our vibrant GitHub and Discord community. How are you able to support free unlimited document signing while DocuSign and others charge so much per document?
Alex Turchyn
@dan_pinto We subsidize the free users via paid users. Hosting costs have gone down significantly in the past few years. So it's part of our core strategy to offer free document singing to as many small businesses as possible while offering premium features to Enterprises

Great Job Alex. Lobe the fact that this is open source. I am just curious to know if this has any restriction being an open source?
Alex Turchyn
Hi @imraju , DocuSeal is published under the AGPLv3 open-source license. We didn't add any additional restrictions to our open-source license.

Congrats on the launch of DocuSeal! It's great to see a document signing solution that is simple, easy to use, and open source. The fact that it can be self-hosted is a huge plus for many businesses. I love that you offer a free forever Cloud tier with unlimited documents. That's a game-changer for startups and individuals who need a reliable document signing solution without breaking the bank. The API and embedding features are also fantastic. Being able to seamlessly integrate document signing into existing apps is a huge time-saver. Overall, DocuSeal seems like a promising solution.
