DJI Osmo Mobile - 3-axis gimbal stabilizer for your mobile

Just received mine yesterday and have been enjoying it so far. Was a little scared since I have an iPhone 6 Plus and found a couple of posts online stating that it doesn't play well with my particular iPhone model, due to its heavy weight. But my experience thus far has been great :)

I have found my next toy!

After all the headaches with the Osmo and DJI's notoriously (rad) customer service (sarcasm), I'll wait a few months before I sink $ on it. I wish someone would build a perfect middle of the line stabilizer - one between the Osmo and the ronin.

Can this be calibrated without the mobile app? If it can be independently calibrated, then action cameras can also be used with this I imagine..

Too bad the handle is not the same as the one that comes with the camera: I would have wanted to try the mobile one and then upgrade to their camera.

I think I saw this product demo'd at Draper University earlier this year. I think it could be useful for things like journalism and cinemagraphs. Most cinemagraph products require you to hold the camera super still.
