What I learned on launch day: Building is the easy part
Today is launch day for Dayli.
Currently sitting at #16 on Product Hunt.
Not the viral launch I imagined.
But I learned something important today.
I spent 6 months obsessing over the product.
The lock screen. The AI verification.
The Time Bank. The UI.
What I didn't spend enough time on:
How to get people to actually use it.
You can build the best product in the world.
If nobody knows it exists β it doesn't matter.
Distribution is the real product.
I'm a solo non-technical founder.
I taught myself enough to ship iOS + Android.
But marketing? Still learning.
Today I have 2 real active users.
Both people I know personally.
That's okay.
Day 1 of the real work starts now.
If you've been through this β
what was your turning point?
When did distribution finally click for you? π
