Major Update

This update introduces a wide range of new effects, major workflow upgrades, and important macOS performance fixes. We focused on making DASCA more powerful and consistent across panels, effect controls, and 3D tools, while also improving export reliability and interaction quality for everyday use.

New Features

• Preferences Panel: DASCA now includes a dedicated Preferences panel for more detailed app-level configuration.

• Randomize Button: Effect settings now include a randomize button for faster creative exploration.

• Manual Slider Input: You can now type exact numeric values directly into slider fields.

• Slider Name Drag Control: Horizontal drag on slider labels now allows more precise value selection.

• Effect Tooltips: Effect settings now provide tooltips that explain what each control does.

• Mode Switch Warning: A confirmation popup is now shown when switching between modes.

• Rebuilt 3D Controller: The 3D controller has been redesigned from the ground up, with lighting, background color, animation options, and 3D ground controls consolidated into the 3D control bar.

Improvements

• Effect Chain Overhaul: The Effect Chain has been reviewed and strengthened with upgrades such as blend modes and masking support.

• UI Consistency Pass: The entire UI system has been polished for a more consistent visual and interaction experience.

• Panel Restore Behavior: Panels now reopen smoothly from their previous state.

• Adjustment Panel Stability: Multiple issues in the Adjustment panel have been resolved.

• Preset Panel Enhancements: The preset panel has been improved for a cleaner and more reliable workflow.

• Mouse Zoom on macOS: External mouse zoom behavior on macOS has been corrected.

• Pixel Sort Release: Pixel Sort is now out of beta.

Bug Fixes

• AMD Video Export: Export issues affecting AMD users have been fixed.

• Depth Ball Export Axis: A bug where Depth Ball appeared inverted on the Y axis in video export has been fixed.
