@gal_malachi Web app is much more inclusive than a browser extension (what we had so far). It supports all major browsers, and even mobile phones. It means you can read your favorite dev news everywhere!

@tal_hacmon2 We're now going to focus a lot on in-app user experience, especially on personalization. The most requested feature is to have better feed filtering and recommendation systems. So guess what? We're going to build that!

I’m using daily.dev has students and this is amazing that I can now have this mobile app. The only thing I can ask for is a bigger menu. I’m on iPhone XR and the menu is quite small. But this is a really good app.

Here it is: 1️⃣ We automatically collect dev news from famous sources like CSS-Tricks, Smashing Mag, web.dev, and +350 publications. 2️⃣ The community ranks the content based on user upvotes and unique views. 3️⃣ Open the web app and instantly access a feed of the most popular posts, ranked by developers. On desktop, tablet and mobile.

Installed this a long time ago. Anytime I open a browser on my machines and I don't see it for some reason, I automatically go to reinstall it. One thing this does is it replaces the distraction of other social media apps with a healthier set of rabbit holes to quickly peruse with my first cup of coffee in the morning. I feel much more productive starting my day off learning something new.

This is by far one of the best platforms for developers in the last few years. I would even go so far as to contend that it stands squarely shoulder to shoulder with DEV Community and CodersRank. The only difference is that daily.dev has a more targeted niche specifically focusing on discovering and delivering top-quality news articles and tutorials from across the dev space.
