Cursor 2.0 - Our first coding model and new interface for agents

by
Two big updates that make Cursor the best place to work with agents: our first coding model, Composer, and a new interface for working with many agents in parallel. Also included in this release: browser for Agent, voice mode, improved code review, and more!

I canceled my Ultra package last month for CC. Might re-subscribe to try out new things.

Hi Cursor Support Team, Is your composer model better than the claude sonnet 4.5?

Vic

Is there any portable version of Cursor Windows? I'm running out of space on C:.

Previously I had seen that even when I installed VS Code to D: drive, all of its data, cache etc were saved in C:, consuming GBs of storage. So, I'm looking for an alternate that's truly portable.

Incredible release - congrats to the whole @Cursor team!

I've been super impressed with the agent view - it is a subtle but significant UX change that shifts the focus from files to features.

Integrating plan + review workflow directly into the product is also very smart! The browser integration is very smooth and I was surprised by the agent's ability to autonomously navigate the web app.

So far composer-1 has been working well and I'm looking forward to trying it for more ambitious projects. It is incredibly fast - and I love the parallel agents idea which pairs so well with fast models like this.

Well done!! 🎉

Okay, this is insane. A native coding model built for Cursor (Composer) AND the ability to run multiple agents at once? This addresses the two biggest things I wanted. It feels like Cursor just evolved from a super-smart assistant into a full-fledged AI engineering team. Can't wait to try the code review and browser features!

Congrats @benln and the team. It's just so good. Excited to push the agents to work together on worktrees and see how far can they go.

i’ve been experimenting with cursor 2.0 and it feels really productive. handling multiple agents simultaneously is a breeze, composer writes clean code efficiently, and the updated review tools make debugging simpler. voice mode is surprisingly helpful too.
