Hey Product Hunt 👋 Cursor Craft v2 is here. When we first launched Cursor Craft, the idea was simple: your Mac is beautiful, but your cursor usually stays the same, even though it’s something you use all day. The first launch gave us a lot of useful feedback. People wanted faster browsing, clearer pack pages, better previews, and a smoother way to find and apply cursor sets. So we rebuilt the app. Cursor Craft v2 has a redesigned interface that makes the app faster and easier to use. The new Home screen highlights hand-picked packs and recent releases. Explore now makes it easier to filter cursor packs by category and preview them before applying. Library keeps purchased packs together in one place. We also simplified pack pages so the preview, price, description, and apply button are all on the same screen. What’s new in v2: • Redesigned Home, Explore, Library, and pack pages • Faster browsing and smoother tab switching • Clearer offline and error states • Cached purchased packs and categories when available • Improved cursor rendering • Better foundation for dynamic and animated cursor packs The rendering work is the part I’m most excited about. It gives us more control over how cursors appear on macOS and opens the door to packs that can move or display changing information. Dynamic and animated cursor packs are still growing, and we’ll share them as they become available. I’d love feedback on: • Does the new app feel easier to browse? • Are pack previews clear enough before applying? • What dynamic or animated cursor ideas would you actually use? • What cursor categories should we improve next? Thanks again to everyone who supported the first launch and helped shape v2. Download Cursor Craft v2 for Mac:

Quick update since launch: We’ve started releasing the first dynamic cursor packs for Cursor Craft.

This is something v2 was designed to support. Instead of only using a static cursor image, a dynamic pack can update over time or react to changing information.

It’s still early, but this opens the door to cursor packs that feel more alive - useful, playful, or contextual.

I’d love feedback: Would you use dynamic cursors on your Mac?

And what kind of dynamic cursor would actually be useful instead of distracting?

Every demo GIF I record, the cursor is the one thing that looks wrong in the final frame. Does a custom one show up in screen recordings?

Thanks for pointing this out! I’d love to look into it and see what might be causing the issue. Which tool are you using to record your screen?

Some screen recording tools handle the OS cursor differently, which can affect how the custom cursor appears in the final recording. For example, I just tested this with QuickTime and the cursor works as expected.

You can check the quick recording here:

If you let me know which tool you’re using, I’d be happy to dig into it and see what’s happening.

Appreciate you recording that, it looks right. So it's my export step, not your app. I'll rerun mine against your clip and come back with specifics.

The animated packs are the part I'd be most careful with. A cursor is the one element on screen that's meant to disappear into your hand, and motion pulls attention back onto it, so a pack that looks great in a store preview can be exhausting an hour into real work. If you can let a pack animate on click and sit still while idle, that's probably where the good ones end up.

yeah this is the bit i keep coming back to. the cursor is the one thing you track without ever looking straight at it, so the second it starts moving on its own youre watching your own pointer instead of the work and it drives me nutsss.
