@gavin_adams1 Hi, we create Web Operating System with own app store, where users get software from. Your app is amazing and we want to enable you to share it to our users πŸ™‚ Can we talk?

I was looking for something like this a while ago trying to use AI's like perplexity on airtable urls. Can this create an URL with cvs or json?
Gavin Adams
@sentry_co It can! - JSON is an export option and easy to select in the UI. If you would like to play around with it you can checkout the sandbox: https://www.csvgetter.com/demo Just create a new export URL and switch Format to "JSON"

@gavin_adams1 Its loading to slow for perplexity πŸ˜… "The provided link https://www.csvgetter.com/demo/V... is not loading and Perplexity is unable to retrieve its content. Therefore, I cannot list the items on the page.
Gavin Adams
@sentry_co Sorry to hear the demo is not working for you as expected! Perhaps another browser may work. Just a note, changing the table deselects all fields, so be sure you have fields selected to see data. If this is a confusing element of the UI I will take a note :) If the demo continues to not work, you can checkout the video demo.
. I demo JSON functionality at 1:28.

@sentry_co Also, make sure you are using the generated export URL, the one that you can retrieve by clicking "Get Export Url" which starts with api.csvgetter.com. This is the actual data export, the link you sent me is the UI for the demo :)

@gavin_adams1 Tried that first. But I dont think perplexity or GPTs like links that does not look like websites. What these Ai prefers is html rendering it can parse: Error msg from perplexity: "As per the search results, the provided link https://api.csvgetter.com/demo/V... is not accessible. Therefore, I cannot list the items on the page"

I have consolidated my discussion with @sentry_co in this new guide which shows how the tool can be used to easily feed live Airtable data into a ChatGPT-style tool like Perplexity: https://www.csvgetter.com/blog/e...

These CSVGetter guides are a lifesaver for Airtable users! The step-by-step instructions make data export a breeze. Any plans for more guides or features in the future? Great work, @gavin_adams1!
Gavin Adams
@sanyan_ Thank you for the kind words. Currently my next guide will be exporting to Dropbox. I am also going to add more features to exports, such as password protected export files (is this something people need? let me know!)
