Crazy Sajangnim: Bringing Korean Sale Culture and Social Shopping Together

Online shopping gives us access to more fashion than ever, but finding a genuinely good deal can still take far too much time. Discounted products are scattered across different retailers, prices appear in different currencies, and shoppers often have to search multiple websites before finding the right item. Even after discovering something interesting, making the final decision can feel surprisingly lonely. There is no friend beside you to ask, Does this look worth it? or How would you style this?

I created Crazy Sajangnim to make that experience easier and more social. It is a fashion-discovery platform that brings discounted designer products from Korean and U.S. retailers into one place. Rather than visiting numerous stores separately, shoppers can explore sale items through a single interface and filter them by market, brand, category, and gender. The platform processes product information including the brand, price, currency, category, image, retailer, and intended market so users can spend less time searching and more time discovering fashion they actually want to wear.

One of Crazy Sajangnim s central features is its Korean and American market support. Fashion shoppers often discover that a brand or product available in Korea may have a different price, selection, or discount in the United States. Crazy Sajangnim helps organize Korean listings in KRW and American listings in USD, allowing users to browse the market that is most relevant to them. This cross-border approach is especially useful for people interested in Korean fashion as well as international designer brands.

The platform is also designed to support an expanding selection of brands. Alongside established labels, Crazy Sajangnim can help shoppers discover smaller, emerging, or regionally popular designers that may be difficult to find on large international shopping platforms. New brands can be added through the administrative system, while aliases and product-inference logic help identify and organize search results by brand, category, gender, price, and currency.
