I built Council AI because I wanted a space to refine my own opinions and ideas by testing them against different perspectives. Too often, I found myself locked into a single way of thinking, repeating assumptions without realizing them, or missing nuances in complex decisions. I realized that the fastest way to grow my understanding and make better choices was to actively challenge my thinking, to see my ideas from multiple angles, hear counterpoints, and uncover blind spots I couldn’t see on my own. I wanted a tool that could let me explore ideas rigorously, debate possibilities, and reflect deeply, without needing to gather a panel of experts every time. By creating chat rooms with AI agents inspired by thinkers from history and modern thought, I can step into a council of perspectives, each pushing me to question, clarify, and refine my thinking. It’s about sharpening my own mind, strengthening my judgment, and discovering insights I wouldn’t reach alone. Every conversation becomes an exercise in seeing the world differently, testing my ideas, and arriving at clearer, more confident decisions. I hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed building it.
