I have spent 10+ years in private wealth management working with families worth $10M to $500M. What they had was a coordinated team across tax, investments, estate, and financial planning. They thought through questions like how to unwind a concentrated stock position, how to structure cash across accounts for the best after-tax yield, or what happens to their financial plan if they leave their job. Every answer was formed around what mattered to them and their family.
Plenty of people need that same depth of thinking and advice but can't get it. Some are high earners or founders. Others are dealing with a windfall, equity comp, a partner's income, a mortgage, or an LLC on the side. Complex finances, but not the AUM to justify a full team.
Correlate is my attempt to close that gap by combining the frameworks I've used with high net worth families with what AI can do across all types of financial data. You connect your accounts and immediately have access to budgeting, portfolio analysis, and quick insights. Over the first few days and weeks Correlate builds the context and goals that are relevant to you, and the insights become more tailored to your needs and wants.
What has surprised me most is how strongly people respond to a product that feels organic, both in how it's designed and in how you present it. People can sense a disingenuous founder and AI slop quite easily. What works is being a person who genuinely cares about what they built and who it's for.

Congrats on the launch. One thing I'd love to see is a "life event simulator" - like a tab where I can model "what happens to my net worth if I exercise X shares next year and sell some to buy a house." Would make the equity comp side way more useful for actual planning.

@melahatakcakaya thanks for the comment! There is a Projections feature which allows you to model equity comp, large purchases, windfalls, change rate assumptions (return, inflation, etc). Additionally, you can create multiple scenarios and compare the outcomes and probabilities of success.

Would love to see a "what-if" simulator built in, something that lets you model scenarios like exercising more stock options or changing your tax withholding so you can see the downstream impact on net worth in real time.
