Hi Product Hunt community!
We just launched ContactRescue (part of the Evercontact and Senders family) as a standalone product and would love to hear any and all feedback.
ContactRescue magically turns your email archives (up to 5 years back) into a complete and up-to-date address book. It’s used by busy professionals—ranging from start-up CEOs to Sales to HR—who need to instantly get their contact list current and accurate.
Never added those event attendees to your address book? Didn’t update Sarah’s new direct line? Paul got a new title? ContactRescue will get your address book in tip-top shape.
Code PH20 gets you 20% off, if you are up to try it out.
Thanks!
@andrewjb44 Hi Andrew, current homepage is designed to grab an email for those who are casually interested (learn more) so we can tell them a bit more. For those who are ready, they can purchase directly. Small link below the email form. Likely we should make bigger! :)
@hilzfuld Device neutral. You'll also get a CSV allowing you to take your contacts with you wherever you go. Please note it works for gmail and Outlook + Office 365.
Very interested in trying this. My Google and iCloud contacts are a mess.
Although I'm a little nervous this might break or accidentally delete legitimate contacts. Is there a way to reverse or review changes before they're made, @bcoulnh / @florianseroussi?
@rrhoover
Hi Ryan,
Great question! We don’t currently allow a review (good to consider though), but we do provide the CSV file for you to see the work ContactRescue has done. We never delete contacts or contact info, we add new contacts and new info. We’d love to chat more (hugo@evercontact.com is ready for ya!)

I love when a product I use and love makes it to the front page of Product Hunt.
This looks super interesting as we do so much emailing, but I have a few questions;
1. So if I buy the 5 years package you go thru my entire gmail messages for the past 5 years and grab the person's name, email and phone number(if in their signature)?
2. Do you append any data to it that you guys might have in your database? Or is it just coming from the email signatures.
3. Are we sharing our data with you? Meaning are you taking this data and selling it?
4. Do you include titles if it is in their signature?
@tomblue
Hi Tom!
Quick answers below :)
1) YES
2) Only email signatures (if another Evercontact user has more recent contact info about a contact, we will take it into account)
3) Privacy is super important and all is outlined in our Privacy Policy here: https://contactrescue.evercontac...
4) YES
Please drop Hugo on our team a note (hugo@evercontact.com) with any other questions or if worth chatting about using for the entire team.
Cheers!
@evercontact@bcoulnh Thanks, but let me confirm. From what I read in your terms I am sharing my data with you so you can take that data and give it to others. Correct?
@tomblue We do not give data to others and also never contact our user's contacts. We keep the data stored in a secured database, blurred and disconnected from our users. The only reason we keep the data is to provide live updates on contacts. We do ensure we are following industry best practices. Hope that helps and please do email us if any other questions. We'd love to be a solution for you. Thanks!

@bcoulnh but right above you say, "if another Evercontact user has more recent contact info about a contact, we will take it into account" - so which is it?
@passingnotes Hi David, good question. To clarify, if we do match a contact in the DB with the most recent information we will update with that. The goal is to be as close to real-time as possible with updating your address book. The point about not contacting a user's contacts simply means zero outreach from us to someone who is not signed up for ContactRescue. Please drop me a line at brian@evercontact.com and I can clarify further (or if I misunderstood the question). Thanks!

Hello, I use Pipedrive and HubSpot with my two business. Is there a way to auto update with zapier? Or, do I need to periodically push that into a csv to manually upload?
@tjwise_ Hey TJ! Right now we only have native integrations with Salesforce and Highrise, but we'd of course love to keep working on others. For now, best bet is using the CSV export. Ping us with any with any other questions. Cheers!
@dovbreuer Hi Dov, thanks for the feedback. Right now we feel good about the pricing especially considering the hours saved and the accuracy we can provide. And to quote a customer - "Wow! ContactRescue analyzed 49,885 of my emails and magically updated 964 contacts!" :) Hear you though and I'm sure we'll do some further testing to find that sweet spot. Thanks!
