Hey PH, Barak here, one of the 3 founders of Coddy. Ok so the honest backstory: none of us enjoyed how we learned to code. Long lectures, thick books, and that feeling of "I did the tutorial and I still cant write anything on my own". At the same time everyone around us was doing 5 minutes of Duolingo a day and actually sticking with it. So in 2023 we tried to make that for coding. A few minutes a day, you type real code from the very first lesson, and a streak so you come back tomorrow. It kind of worked. Today Coddy has 5M+ learners, 20+ languages (Python, JS, C++, SQL, Rust, even Assembly and Verilog for the brave), 100+ courses, and people submit over 100K pieces of code a day on it. Stuff I'd actually point you to: - Bugsy, our AI tutor. Ask it why your code fails and it explains and nudges you, it wont paste the solution. Its on the free plan too (with a daily limit) - The mobile apps - 4.9 on the App Store, 4.8 on Google Play. A lot of people do their Python on the bus now, which still makes me smile - Certificates you can actually verify, so they mean something on a CV - Everything is free to use, free accounts just have a daily energy limit. Premium removes it For PH we set 50% off any plan. It's applied automatically when you come from our launch page, valid 72 hours after you sign up. No code to remember. Two things I'd love to hear from you: what language or topic should we add next? And if you tried learning to code before and gave up - what made you stop? That's the stuff we obsess over. I'll be here all day, ask me anything.

Such a clean interface reminds me of the good parts of language apps, congrats for launch🙌

thank you :) im glad you liked it!

Curious- What’s the biggest difference between Cody and traditional coding platforms ?

Good question! Biggest one is size of the bites. Most platforms are built around long videos or long lessons, and most people drop off somewhere in week 2. Coddy (not cody ;) ) is a few minutes a day, you write real code from the first minute, and streaks + leagues make you come back tomorrow. Basically we optimized for "still learning in 3 months" over "finished a course in a weekend"

Second is Bugsy, our AI tutor - it explains why your code fails and nudges you, but wont give you the answer. Feels slower but thats where the actual learning happens

It's a great product. My daughter is using it to learn C# and is very happy with it.

Thanks Yoav, this made my morning! C# is a great pick, tell her she's officialy part of the CoddyFam now 😄

In the era of vibe coding, it’s honestly refreshing to see products like this

The AI tutor feature sounds interesting — how does it handle it when someone gets stuck?

Also Codd(y) is such a cute name haha

Big congratulations to the whole team on the launch! Excited to see how many people end up learning to code with it.

Thanks Suryansh! Our ai tutor gives hints until the points it feels the learner is too frustrated and at this point he offers a solution, everything is integrated with real interactive platform when they can code and do much more :) 5 million and counting!

Wow what an idea This is genuinely such a unique approach

I can see how even a kid could learn coding this way haha

And 5M users is already a huge number

Wishing you guys the best and hoping to see Cody reach 10M 15M and 20M users soon and help even more people learn to code

Thank you so much, Suryansh! Really appreciate the kind words and support. Onward to 10M! 🚀

Super cool! So is it like Duolingo but for coding?

 Thanks Tal! Exactly ;)
