I know some people are going to hate on this POV: I respect Clubhouse's discipline to avoid releasing an Android app until now. People underestimate the all in cost of expanding to another platform, especially with a small team that's scaling quickly.

@rrhoover Agreed - given what a small team it has been (doing so much) I think this was the right move vs shipping a buggy early Android version they can't properly support.

@rrhoover Agreed! We’ve had the same challenge at Speeko — lots of people underestimate the cost of not just expanding but supporting what is essentially a second product. Congrats to Clubhouse for moving relatively quickly on this!

Clubhouse Summer 2020: less pretentious, more productive summit series Clubhouse Summer 2021: Herbalife reps’ forum with web 1.0 pop up ads btwn https://twitter.com/LNKSI/status... I hope at least the team is (1.) Ashamed, and (2.) Disclosing active vs completely inactive account numbers to their investors, because it looks like 90% of the users that last longer than 1 week are running a scam with fresh blood weekly — otherwise, I think of the ~10M accounts, likely no more than 2% ever open the app at all after week 1 while the quality of content goes 📉📉📉 The founders showed they can weed out 🎯 content w/ XXX rooms, but refuse to with scams - now a 80% of the app. Monetizing on misery vs club sub $/mo, replaced the highest value content literally anywhere w/ depressing hot wet trash. Just nix all rooms the SEC would find distasteful & perpetrator accounts, same goes w/ the MLM & self help scams & scammers. Focus monetization @ monthly club memberships, as per room tips incent clickbait & fraud. Invite notable people to have worthwhile discussions again for growth. 🙏
