EDI File Converter lets healthcare teams view and convert EDI 835 and 837 files into readable CSV or Excel outputs right in the browser. No complex setup, no sending sensitive files to a third party for parsing, and a generous free tier to get started. Built for billers, analysts, and anyone tired of digging through raw EDI.

Hey Product Hunt, I built EDI File Converter because working with raw 835 and 837 files is way more painful than it should be. A lot of existing workflows are clunky, hard to read, or require sending sensitive files off somewhere else just to inspect them. I wanted something simpler: upload an EDI file in the browser, review it, and convert it into readable CSV or Excel output fast. A few things I focused on: browser-based workflow support for EDI 835 and 837 files readable output instead of raw segment chaos a generous free tier so people can actually try it I’d really love feedback on 3 things: Is the output format clear enough? What fields or views would make this more useful? What would stop you from using this in a real workflow? Happy to answer questions and would seriously appreciate blunt feedback.
