Haha this is so good! Anything you are doing to stop users from skipping the blockade? :)
Stasia Avramenko
@bbharadwaj haha, great question! no way to skip the blockade—our motion detection is pretty sharp, so if you’re not doing the pushups, squats, or steps, the app won’t unlock. it’s all about keeping things legit!
Oliver Hill
@bbharadwaj It is UNCHEATABLE! As someone who has tried every app blocker under the sun and knows the ways to get around all of them, I can say I have not figured out a cheat for this one. Except getting on the floor and doing an pushup :)

@anastasi_avramenko This should be a fun experiment then! Thanks and good luck

@anteloper Kudos on launching such an innovative approach to reduce mindless scrolling by integrating physical exercise! Encouraging positive habits while using technology is remarkable. We've taken a similar innovative leap by using AI avatars to conduct seamless, engaging interviews, enabling efficient technical hiring. How do you see the integration of physical exercise with app usage impacting user engagement and productivity? What challenges do you anticipate in maintaining user motivation over time?
Zishan Iqbal
@anteloper Thank you for sharing your insights and the thoughtful questions! User engagement with our AI avatars has been very positive. We've designed our avatars to conduct interviews in a conversational manner, which makes the candidates feel more at ease, and the feedback indicates they appreciate the efficiency and human-like interaction. To maintain interest and efficiency over time, we continuously update our system with new algorithms that better mimic human nuances. We’ve also integrated features that allow for customized interview scenarios specific to different roles and companies, which keeps the process dynamic for both candidates and hiring teams. Additionally, we use data analytics to identify areas of improvement, ensuring that our avatars evolve alongside user needs. Our goal is to create an engaging, efficient, and continuously improving hiring experience. Would love to hear more about any specific challenges you've overcome with your GTM workflows and how user feedback has shaped your feature updates!

Hey Oliver, I'm wondering how you handle edge cases. For example, what if someone has a physical disability that prevents them from doing pushups or squats? Are there alternative options for earning screen time in those situations? Congrats on the launch!
Oliver Hill
@kyrylosilin Hey, great question! For users with physical disabilities or limitations that prevent them from doing exercises like pushups or squats, we’ve implemented alternative ways to earn screen time. Users can opt for a 15 second breathing exercise before opening apps. This is actually the default setting - the exercise mode is opt-in
Mitia
You guys are wild... but I love it! My teammates and I were already messaging each other earlier today, reminding each other to do pushups 😁 Great one!
Oliver Hill
@mitia That’s amazing! 😂 I love that you and your teammates are already holding each other accountable with pushups. It’s awesome to see how people are embracing the fun side of it while also building healthier habits. Keep up the good work—and those pushups! 💪 Thanks for sharing, it made my day!

I personally love using this app - I've spent wayyy too much time on my phone and have had the goal of staying more in the present, which Clearspace has helped with a ton. Would highly recommend it!

Ha what a brilliant idea! This is like a physical sweat jar. Such a fun idea - knowing how much I hate working out, this may actually work. Wasn’t there an app that can detect if you can do exercise properly? This reminds me of that. Congrats @anteloper and team!
Asher Dorian Thorne
Sounds like a super interesting idea! I’ve always needed a little extra push to get off my phone, and making me do pushups to unlock my apps? Genius! Can’t wait to try it out.Congrats.
Oliver Hill
@asherdorianthorne Thanks Asher! We'd be excited to have you try it! I can say from personally experience it has totally transformed the way I think about my time scrolling!
Royce Branning
@asherdorianthorne thank you! yeah bringing the physical aspect into the mix really makes all the difference!
Stasia Avramenko
@asherdorianthorne thanks, Asher! Glad you’re into the idea. It’s crazy how adding that little physical challenge really changes how you think about your screen time!

@anteloper hey. I really love this concept and looks like that is what I need. Thank you One quick question is does this tool work with all apps or just specific ones? Cuz I'm interested but mostly struggle with gaming apps, I would like to know whether that would be covered or if it's mainly for social media.
Oliver Hill
@davidcarter Great q - it works with all apps! Give it a shot, I totally know the struggle with gaming apps, and this was built with that use case in mind
Royce Branning
@anteloper @davidcarter all apps! social media is just one of the most common for people
Stasia Avramenko
@davidcarter yep, it works with all apps—including gaming apps. I actually use it myself to help manage my time on games, and it’s been a game changer (no pun intended). Definitely give it a try and see how it helps with your gaming routine!
