Hey everyone quick update since our launch!

We've shipped a lot based on what early users (many of you) told us. The theme was "make it obviously working, everywhere":

Sharper filtering out of the box the default strictness now catches the borderline junk that used to survive page 1. If your last impression was "it barely filtered my search," try it again.

Now on Firefox and Microsoft Edge same extension, same zero-data promise, all three stores. The install button on our site now detects your browser (Brave/Opera/Vivaldi/Arc work too, via the Chrome listing).

Quick update for anyone who followed the launch: ClearCart the extension that hides junk dropship listings and gibberish no-name brands from Amazon and Walmart search results is now available for Firefox, not just Chrome.

Why it took a minute: Firefox doesn't do MV3 service workers, so the background script had to be reworked as an event page, and the whole thing needed a permanent add-on ID and a clean build pipeline (my first upload got rejected because a Windows-built zip used backslashes in the entry names fun one).

What hasn't changed: it's still 100% local. No servers, no telemetry, no accounts, no scoring API. Every listing is scored on your own machine, which is why the Firefox install screen says "no data collected" that's a declaration I actually had to make, and it's accurate.

Hey Product Hunt quick pricing update, and the reasoning behind it, because I think the reasoning is the interesting part.

Why it's built the way it is:

If you've searched for anything on Amazon lately, you know the drill. You type in "wireless earbuds" and get forty results from "brands" like VGEBY, KMOUK, and ZQXWK the same dropshipped item relisted a dozen times under randomly generated names, 200-character keyword-soup titles, and suspiciously perfect reviews.

And since Fakespot shut down in 2025, shoppers have been left without a good way to cut through it. That's the gap ClearCart fills.

What it does

Install it, search like you normally would, and junk listings quietly collapse out of your results. Every listing is scored on your device against the fingerprints of junk gibberish brand names, clone-farm title patterns, merged review pools, too-good-to-be-true ratings while a bundled allowlist of 3,000+ established brands keeps legitimate products safe from filtering.

ClearCart now works on Walmart.

Since launch, the most common request wasn't a feature it was a second marketplace. Walmart opened its doors to third-party sellers, and the junk economy that made Amazon search miserable moved in with its entire toolkit: disposable trademark-jumble brands, clone relistings, keyword-landfill titles, fake "was" prices.

The good news: my scoring engine didn't care which site it was on. Gibberish is gibberish. The entire port was a DOM problem, and three things made it interesting:

1. Walmart is a single-page app. Amazon reloads the page on every click, so my content scripts just ran. Walmart swaps the URL without a page load, so my product-page script never woke up. Now everything watches for client-side navigation and re-runs including waiting out Walmart's lazy hydration, which renders the buy box after the title and briefly convinced my diagnostics that half the page didn't exist.
