Hey Product Hunt! Kenneth here, maker of Claude Music. I built this because I kept tab-switching to Spotify or some lofi YouTube stream every time I sat down to code with Claude Code. Skip a track, adjust volume, find a new playlist. Tiny interruptions that kept pulling me out of flow. So I put the music inside the terminal. Claude Music streams free online music right in your Claude Code session. Lofi, jazz, classical, ambient, synthwave, 31 stations across 8 genres. No accounts, no setup. Just /play and go. The thing that made it actually useful for me was the AI DJ. Type /vibe and it reads what you're doing in your session and picks a genre that fits. Debugging? Lofi. Deep refactor? Classical. You can also just tell it how you're feeling: /mood tired, need energy. There's also a built-in pomodoro timer too (/focus 25 lofi) that fades the music and chimes when time's up. Honestly that's the feature I use most. Started as a weekend hack, turned into something I can't code without.
