Chronicle - Create your personal memex through voice for total recall

by
For busy professionals who can't remember important details, Chronicle is a personal AI memory system that lets you voice-record facts, ideas, and information and instantly retrieve them with natural language questions. Unlike journaling apps focused on introspection and mood tracking, Chronicle is designed for total recall with minimum friction—capturing what you need to remember, not how you feel.

The comparison with journaling apps is important. this feels more like a functional memory system rather than a reflection tool.

@rebecca_richard1 The idea of querying across multiple memories and finding patterns is where this gets interesting. That is much closer to how people actually think.

@rebecca_richard1  @asheer_ahmad I agree. I think our mind starts pulling threads which then connect memories. It's disorganised by nature, but can find order in chaos. Our tool aims to help with that: quick & easy to store new details, in the moment, without caring about organisation. But when you want to recall, you need be able to span across all of these memories.

@rebecca_richard1 we hope that distinction comes across clearly. We are aiming for users that are looking for accurate recollection, focused on facts, to help with practical everyday details. The journaling market is very well served already. I think there are great solutions in that space. But we are looking to solve a different need.

Great app! Record most of my meeting’s details instead of using a diary and then when I need I just ask it back. I also use it for recording things about acquaintances such as children’s names, or hobbies and that helps with the comversation topics the next time we meet. It always looks like I have excelent memory! ( I don’t really)

Thank you Diana. You were one of our first early adopters and your feedback has been amazing to get the app to this point.

I have a terrible long term memory, so I wanted something that allowed me to record my own thoughts, facts and life events on the go, without much structure or care for organization - just dump them at the touch of a button.

Minimum friction for input, while picking up all the nuances of what i said.

But then, crucially, I wanted to have a way to easily come back and ask questions from those memories, with "total recall". But not just like search, with the ability to go into the precise details, across multiple entries, find patterns, correlate and then giving me just the answer I need.

It's like having my own personal memex.
