Cheq – We built a checklist app because every "simple" to-do app felt overengineered
Hey Folks!
I'm Sagar, and I built Cheq - a collaborative checklist app for people who just want to get things done without a 45-minute onboarding tutorial.
The backstory is embarrassingly simple. My brother and I were planning a trip. We had a shared Google Doc, a WhatsApp group, three different note apps, and somehow we still forgot a few items. That's when I thought - why is it so hard to just… share a checklist?
So I built Cheq. It does what you'd expect:
Shared checklists — invite people, assign tasks, set due dates
Real-time sync — everyone sees updates instantly
Team chat — built right into each checklist, no more switching apps
Reminder: It reminds you to pack stuff and also tells you if you're missing something from your checklist.
Mobile App - Android mobile app is currently under construction, so you'll have native push reminders, offline, and many more features all synced together.
AI task suggestions — because sometimes you don't know what you're forgetting
No bloat. No Gantt charts. No "enterprise workflow automation." Just checklists that work, with people you trust.
It's free to use, the premium plan increases the core experience of the app.

I'd genuinely love to hear what you think. What's the one feature that would make you switch from whatever you're using today? Happy to answer anything here.
Thanks for checking it out!
