I'm Sagar, and I built Cheq - a collaborative checklist app for people who just want to get things done without a 45-minute onboarding tutorial.
The backstory is embarrassingly simple. My brother and I were planning a trip. We had a shared Google Doc, a WhatsApp group, three different note apps, and somehow we still forgot a few items. That's when I thought - why is it so hard to just share a checklist?
After building CHEQ, I realized its strength is what it isn't: just another rigid productivity system. Most tools are either basic task lists or heavy enterprise software like Jira. CHEQ sits perfectly in the middle. We turned simple checklists into collaborative workspaces where you can chat, tag teammates, and get quiet AI nudges. It upgrades how you already work, handling real collaboration without feeling like a full time management job.
