microsoft is doing this with Azure
Microsoft owns OpenAI tho. So still inside their walled garden. I mean can you host chatgpt on dedicated servers outside of OpenAIs controll? If you cant, I dont see how you can solve AI privacy.

even before this enterprise release, you could get GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 on Azure, which interestingly was faster than on OpenAI's own API
