When I came to know that originality.ai have released a character counter, my first thought was, "What's the need for another character counter when there are hundreds of others ALREADY?" I quickly got my answer; it's actually a counter that counts the characters that actually matter. Like, I always struggle with creating SEO Title. It's hard to create something memorable within sixty characters. With the Ai here, I can pour my heart out, but the SEO title would still be in 60 characters. The same goes for the Subject of the e-mails. It also acts like a rewrite and helps improve the originality with chatGPT (when done right). I am just curious about the cap of 10 searches/day. What's the team's take on this? Overall, a great addtion, especially good for copywriters.

The character counter tool is certainly an innovation that was much needed, at least by editors like me. It is brilliant to stay within word limits without changing the meaning of the text, the intent, or the crispness of delivery. I have currently used it for social media captions, and it does a great job summarizing a blog post into two sentences, thus it can be great for meta-descriptions also. I can see this being a regular part of my word tools in the future!
