Best
I like their simple promo video:
I tried to draw a cat. Failed. Neat tool for explainer videos and the pre-made doodles are a huge help.
thanks Ryan, sorry to hear about the cat... the drawing tool would improve too and we'll add simple drawing tutorials The doodle library is collaborative and curated, anyone can contribute
The idea is awesome! But by all means - it should be in vector form. - pixelation is hurting my eyes.
thanks! completely agree
Yep, It'd a great tool, I recommend ☺.
buzz me when site is back
will do, all this PH love volume was a bit much for the prototype

This is cool!
thanks Niv!
Hi product hunters! Chalkmotion is still in a prototype phase I aim to keep the simplicity, and add features like adding multiple images per slide, exporting to gif, embedding in a webpage, stop motion animation loops, audio, collaboration tools and more... let me know what you'd like to use it for and what features would help the most!
Multiple images per slide is the next feature I would want.
thanks James, absolutely, I think of these drawings as building blocks so compositing together is essential!
Interesting idea, but why use this over white board drawings
these are very much whiteboard drawings, the format is javascript which makes viewing, editing and collaborating instantaneous, unlike video. The drawing library is open source, collaborative and curated and one could use the drawings in video projects, powerpoint etc. It's also is at a very early stage... Hope that answers the question!
awesome, yes it does! Thanks so much
The registration flow is a thing of beauty. I like how unauthenticated users can start making things before even being asked for an email address.
thanks Jeff, I prefer to keep it as open as possible, registering allows you to edit your slideshows and use your saved drawings
