Hey Product Hunt 👋 We give you the best machine learning models for your Web- and App-development challenges and built an API wrapper and Docker container around it so you can implement it in your app/website in minutes. And all free and Open-Source 🔥 Are you a web developer struggling with implementing AI & machine learning models into your products? You are overwhelmed by Huggingface and other platforms made for ML engineers? Are you frustrated with the time and resources required to fiddle with the Python/Pytorch/Tensorflow stack? Well, we have the perfect solution for you - introduce Cargoship Model Store! Our small team at Cargoship understands the pain points that especially web developers face when it comes to machine learning. We have been working in the field of AI for the past few years, and we know what really matters when it comes to choosing the right model and how to integrate it into your website or app. We understand that not everyone has the time, resources, or technical expertise to evaluate and select the right model for their application. That's why we've done the work for you, ensuring that you have access to high-quality machine learning models that meet your needs. Our mission is to be "The easiest way to integrate AI into your software," and we are constantly soliciting feedback and improving our guidance to ensure we deliver on that mission. With our pre-selected models and comprehensive information, you can quickly find and deploy models that meet your specific needs. Whether you're a small business looking to expand your services or an individual developer exploring new technologies, our Model Store has something for you. You can easily deploy the models to your own servers using Docker. (We'll also be adding more instructions on how to use a one-click hosting service soon). So what are you waiting for? Head over to our Model Store and start exploring the world of machine learning with ease. Let Cargoship help you take your software to the next level! Check it out: https://cargoship.sh ⛴️ What do you guys think? What "smart" AI functionality do you need in your App/SaaS/Website... and what models should we provide for you?

What's new, developers? 🖖 Bravo on the launch of Cargoship on the Product Hunt! 🙂 Looks like it's a game-changer! What is your traction? How many users you have?
Matti Nannt
@new_user_126293be17 We have just launched and tested the first models with a few pilot users. We are very excited to see which developers and their challenges we can support in the coming weeks.
Alexey
Great idea! What it the most popular AI-model in your service for now?
Matti Nannt
@alexey_yar 🙏 So far it's the simple text models like language-detection and sentiment-analysis. The are easy to deploy and have a lot of use cases from customer service message classifying or giving users of feedback/survey apps more insights. But it's still very early and we just launched with a few pilot customers. So very curious what use cases show up in the next few weeks.

Wow, cool. I would like to deploy other models unavailable in your library too. Nice idea, congrats.
Matti Nannt
@mresyilmaz Thank you 🙏 What kind of models do you want to deploy. We can definitely help you with that; I think it's best if we talk a bit about your use case. Please join our Discord at https://cargoship.sh/discord and we can discuss there or send me an email to matti@cargoship.sh 🤗

Super interesting! Will certainly checkout play around with :)
Matti Nannt
@jobenjada Thank you 🙏 If you need any special model for your app to make it smarter and you can't find on page yet, just tell us what you need and we find the best model for that problem.

Yo people . Well done on getting your product on the Product Hunt! Looks like it's a game-changer! I'll definitely try it. I have precisely one query. What is your traction?
Matti Nannt
@new_user_937170b1b4 thank you 🙏 If you have any specific use case or model that you need support for, please feel free to reach out directly or join our discord 😊 We just launched a few weeks back with a handful of pilot users from our waitlist and their use cases and now Product Hunt is the first bigger validation and traction that we got 😊

Do you plan to add a hosted service? Would love to use the models as a service!
Jonas Mielck
@malte_hecht Thanks for the input 😊 We are currently working on increasing the quality of the existing models and making more models available. The models that you can already try on our website are hosted by us and we will make our models available as hosted service in the future.

Congrats on your launch 🚀 Democratising AI methods with open-source tools I believe is an important step to collectively improve and investigate these models as opposed to getting stuck to big tech agenda. I really like the ease of use, clear statement of resource requirements and the curated nature of the models. My advice would be to give more information about the bias and limitations of the models you have curated, maybe an example could help 💭 Although you release the models under creative commons and the wrapper with MIT license, given the potentially malicious use cases of some of the models such as text generation, it could beneficial to have a terms saying that you are against any unintended applications 👍
Matti Nannt
@nuric thank you 🙏 that's good advice! We will work on giving more information about the confidence, failure rate and bias of the models (most likely when going deeper in describing the dataset of the models)

Congrats! Sounds amazing)
