Our daily lives are maybe a series of miracles - that feeling was a big part of what inspired me to build Candy Jar. I wanted to make something that helps each day feel a little more noticed. Not through pressure or streaks, but through small surprises to look forward to and a gentle ritual for appreciating meaningful moments. In Candy Jar, each day becomes a unique candy in your jar. You can add notes and photos, and over time old memories resurface in small, unexpected ways. As I worked on it, the idea grew beyond journaling. I wanted each day to feel tangible. I used motion, physics, and soft haptics to make the jar respond in your hand, and spent a lot of time shaping the animation and overall feel so it would be calm, playful, and pleasant to return to.
