I think people generally underestimate how much a slightly different structure matters to communication — the idea of a post as "complete thought" makes so much difference in how people stay efficient at their day to day. I'm excited and proud of @brian_lovin and the team for bringing this product to life at such a high quality.

The status quo for team communication today is awful. @brian_lovin and the campsite crew have spent a ton of time refining, understanding and building an all encompassing tool that solves so many pain points. I joined Campsite at the beginning of this year and had the same experience that I imagine many of our customers do. Initially, I struggled to shake the years of Slack muscle memory and instinctively reached for chat first, writing incomplete thoughts in a small textbox. Then I'd stop, copy my writing over to a post composer, and take the time to finish my thought before sharing. It didn't take long for starting with a post to become second nature because the results were immediately obvious: - Our discussions are more thoughtful and neatly organized into posts with titles and comment threads. No stray messages. - Resolutions and decisions are clear and co-located with the conversation chain. - Search turns up discussions, not messages, and it takes seconds to find things we talked about months ago. The chaos of a company Slack feels like a distant memory now. Campsite has brought a calm clarity to our daily work while helping us move faster and cut out a ton of noise. It's inspired a big shift in how I think about workplace communication, and I'm excited for you to experience that shift, too. 🏕️
