Hey Product Hunt 👋 Bubu Present started with a phone call from a friend. He had a presentation coming up and asked me: “Do you have a presentation remote I can borrow?” I didn’t. So instead of buying one, I built one. 😄 The idea was simple: open your presentation on your Mac, scan a QR code with your phone, and use the phone as your remote. No mobile app to install. No account. No presentation uploads. He became the first user — and he still uses it. 🐶 So why Bubu? Bubu is my French bulldog and the mascot behind BubuKits, a small collection of Mac apps I’m building. Around the same time I started working on BubuKits, there was a lot of public attention in Poland around the conditions in dog shelters. It made me think that these little apps could do something more than just make a few everyday tasks easier. So 50% of our proceeds go toward supporting dog shelters. Bubu Present is one of the first apps in that experiment. It’s $4.99 once — no subscription. I’d genuinely love to hear what you think, especially if you give a lot of presentations or use a Mac for work. Thanks for checking it out ❤️ — David & Bubu 🐶
