Brief is the Executive Intelligence platform. It tracks every decision you make and every commitment your team makes back, and catches what's slipping before the deadline does, so you walk into every conversation prepared.

Hi Product Hunt. I'm Clint, one of Brief's co-founders.
Every Friday afternoon I run the same routine. I go back through the week and ask two questions: what did I say I'd do that went nowhere, and what did someone say they'd do for me? It takes about forty minutes, and it's the only reason a lot of my commitments ever get kept.
Brief does that work every day, without the forty minutes.
It reads your email and chat and finds the commitments in them: who owes what, to whom, and by when. It keeps that record current, and it closes a commitment on its own when the evidence shows it's done. It tells you who owes you a follow-up and which customer went quiet. It keeps your decisions too, with what was decided and why. Each morning you get a briefing, and before a meeting you get what you need to walk in prepared. When something needs following up, Brief drafts it, and by default nothing goes out until you approve it. Brief is private by architecture.
What you decided, and who owes you what, without the Friday afternoon.
Starting today, Brief's Individual Edition is in Open Beta, free while in beta. If you're in North America with a Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 work account, you get straight in. Everyone else joins the list and hears first when Brief opens where you are. Team Edition is coming next.
I'll be here all day. Tell me what you'd want Brief to catch first.

Finally, a way to automatically track what needs to be done, who is involved, and why. The team has been super-responsive to feedback, and I strongly recommend the product!
Engineer on the Brief team here. Clint covered what it does, so I'll add one request: if you try it, tell me what it surfaced for you and what you'd like it to pick up next. That's the most useful input we can get today, and I'll be here answering questions all day.

I'm involved in several companies and projects, and one of my biggest challenges is keeping track of commitments, follow-ups, and decisions across everything I'm working on. Brief has been a valuable tool in helping me stay on top of those moving pieces, and I'm excited to see how it continues to evolve.
