BrickSolvr v1.1.1 — A Brand-New Demo Video 🎬

I remade the video to show the full BrickSolvr experience - from choosing or uploading a 3D model to customizing the bricks, exploring the result, building it layer by layer, and downloading the complete parts list.

The video is now embedded in the Getting Started guide, too.

I've really enjoyed seeing BrickSolvr improve. The cleaner flow stood out for me

I like how you've focused on showing real functionality instead of rushing through features. I'm curious how BrickSolvr perform with unusual brick layouts because that's where I'd love to see another demo.

Watched plenty of software demos, and this one kept my attention because the workflow felt practical. For me, adding a quick comparison between the previous version and v1.1.1 would make the improvements even clearer.

Thanks, everyone!

Just to clarify, v1.1.1 mainly introduces the remade demo and makes it easier to revisit—the core conversion functionality hasn’t changed.

What kind of unusual model or layout did you have in mind? I’d be interested to see a specific example.

The workflow looks much easier to follow now. If I had one suggestion, it would be to briefly explain how long the conversion typically takes for different modle sizes.

Thanks for the thoughtful suggestion! 🙌

The size-up shown in the video completes in a few seconds, and in my testing, small-to-medium models generally convert pretty quickly.

Since everything runs locally, the actual time depends heavily on the model and the device’s computing power.

Have you come across a conversion that felt unusually slow btw? If there’s demand for larger, more complex models, remote computation is something I may explore in the future.

It's interesting how often a better demo video improves adoption without changing the product itself. Clear communication is sometimes is just as valuable as new features.

Exactly—the capabilities were already there; they just needed a clearer story. That’s why I remade the video and made it easy to revisit in the guide—not just for branding, but to help users get started faster. Thanks! 🙌
