We accidentally launched Bracket today 😅
Tanay and I had actually decided to postpone our Product Hunt relaunch indefinitely.
There was just one problem.
We forgot to unscheduled it.
So at 12:30 PM today, while both of us were out of town, Bracket launched itself 😂
By the time we realized what had happened, Product Hunt had featured us. A few hours later, we were sitting at #9 Product of the Day with 100+ upvotes.
Definitely not the launch strategy we planned.
But something interesting came out of it.
People seem interested enough to upvote Bracket, but we're seeing far fewer people actually try the product than I expected.
And that's what I want to understand.
If you came across Bracket today but didn't try it, what stopped you?
Was the value unclear?
Too much setup?
Didn't trust connecting your tools?
Couldn't see where it would fit into your workflow?
Something else entirely?
Bracket is free right now. I'm not looking for compliments here. I'd genuinely like to understand the gap between “this looks interesting” and “I'll actually use this.”
Tanay and I will be around here answering everything.

Congrats on the accidental launch, Saksham! Quick question: for teams hesitant to connect production Slack or Gmail right away, do you have a read-only sandbox or dummy workspace mode so they can test the memory layer safely?
That’s a really good point, @grayson_bass. We don’t have a dedicated sandbox/dummy workspace mode yet, and honestly this launch is making me realize we probably should.
Asking someone to connect their real Gmail or Slack before they’ve experienced the value of the memory layer is a pretty big trust ask.
A sandbox with realistic conversations, decisions and scope changes could let someone experience Bracket first, then connect their own tools when they’re comfortable.
Adding this to our list. Would you personally prefer a pre-populated demo project, or a sandbox where you can add your own dummy data?
