How do you decide which box an order ships in? (building BoxIntellect for WooCommerce)

by•

Why I built it: most WooCommerce stores either guess the box at the packing table or send carriers rough weights, and then get hit with dimensional-weight surcharges later. BoxIntellect packs every order against your real boxes and shows the parcels right in the orders list.

What it does today:

- You add your own boxes, with inner size, wall thickness and weight.

- It packs each order and shows the parcels on the order screen.

- Products marked fragile get extra padding, and products that already ship in their own packaging are sent as they are.

- AI can fill in missing product dimensions, so you don't have to measure the whole catalog by hand.

- A setup guide walks you through boxes, then product sizes, then a test pack.

You can try it in your browser without installing anything. Use "Live Preview" on , which loads a demo shop with products and orders.

I'd really like input from people who ship physical products:

1. How do you pick boxes today? A spreadsheet, gut feeling, or something in your shipping software?

2. What's the most annoying part of packing: missing product sizes, choosing the box, or printing the paperwork?

3. What would make you trust an automatic box suggestion enough to use it?

Happy to answer anything about how the packing works.
