Everyone ends up building similar-sounding voice agents if they're using the same templates. How do you keep each one feeling unique?
uploading one doc and getting a call-ready agent out the other end is a nice compression of what used to be a multi-week integration project. the auto-picking of model combinations per use case is the part I'm most curious about - if the best-fit model for a given call type has an outage or degrades mid-call, does Studio fail over to a backup model/provider automatically, or would that show up as a dropped or broken call on the business's end?
This feature surely makes the inital agent setup process easier without playing around with differer parts of voice agent: agent prompt, engine, telephony,etc. Bridging the gap of technicality in building it. Congrats to the team !!
Agent optimization is what brings the production quality, which still requires expertise in prompt engg, LLM, TTS, STT suppliers. Each model has a it's own advantages and trade-offs when it comes to latency, cost and quality. I have been using Bolna for the past 6 months building agents for various use cases and tuning these paramters does bring out a big change in the cost of a call. Presumably this feature might pave the roadway to optimization as well.
Getting a voice agent running in ten minutes is impressive! I have one question: can it recognize when it doesn’t know the answer and bring in a real person, or does it try to make something up?
