Why I spent months building a "social space" that doesn't want to keep you hooked.
by•
Hi everyone! I’m a sociology student and developer, and frankly, I’m tired of the noise.
Modern platforms are designed to exploit our dopamine loops, forcing us to perform rather than think. With blohem., I wanted to build the opposite: a calm, cinematic, and anonymous archive for your thoughts.
It’s a space where you can write privately or publish your "signals" without the pressure of an algorithm. No noise, just signal.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on two things:
Do you think "calm" is even possible in digital social spaces anymore?
What is the biggest "digital noise" you face in your daily life?
I'll be here all day to answer questions about the tech stack, the philosophy, or just to chat about the future of human interaction. Let's talk!

The biggest noise is being in platforms that I use for networking and the constant need to grow on them.
Calm feels impossible, but it is needed.
@build_with_aj Thanks so much for your comment! Hopefully, together we can create calmer and more meaningful digital spaces.
