@rrhoover@nbashaw Wow, this is my first product made especially for PH community and I am super happy to get a comment from the founder itself, I am literally dancing right now. Thanks for your comment.
We have started d5Gravity to solve small problems faced by startups everyday. We all have wonderful startups but we fall short on ‘what to write for our next blog post’ so in order to solve this problem we have made BlogOwl that emails creative and simple blog post ideas every 3 days. Each email contains blog idea, title and content suggestions along with some inspirational blog links that others have written on the same topic.
We also believe in the concept of ‘Eating your own dog food’, hence we have started writing on our Medium blog (https://medium.com/d5gravity) using the same ideas which we suggests others.
If you think its valuable please signup and let me know if you have any suggestions and ideas to improve the product.

@tahaqadri just a quick question, can I selected a category and get ideas on that topic? An example would be technology. I currently spend my free time on my tech blog and I really need tech post ideas to do research on.
@basictechy BlogOwl is generic, we are already working on SaaS/Tech ideas, follow us on ProductHunt/Twitter to know the updates

I'd really like to choose a "category". I'm a freelance designer and I don't own a product (or a startup) so I'd like to get help on writing about creative stuff or some spesific design solutions (or maybe about freelancing I don't know).
What does BlogIOwl suggest me writing ideas based on? What's the algorithm?
Are you generating the same suggestions for all the users of your service, or there is some personalization?
@aramiggs The ideas are based on common topics which all types of startups can write upon. No algorithms just some creativity.
Yes same ideas are sent to all the users without any personalization, but each user will write the content according to his/her style and experience and that will make it different from others. The main concept is to motivate users to write and keep their blogs fresh without worrying that a particular blog post might be similar to someone else.
@tahaqadri thanks for the answer. Taking into consideration startups are about quite different topics I believe it would be a killer feature to have some kind of personalization based on topics and interests.
@aramiggs Thanks a lot, I will try to implement this in the next version

Subscribed! Was really looking forward to this amazing idea but I never received an email - ever. It's been 5 days now. Am I just impatient or is this not intended?
@flowinho Thanks for subscribing, sorry for the inconvenience, you just need to click the confirmation button in the confirmation email, please check your inbox, if still you are not able to receive it, send me an email at blogowl@d5gravity.com
@sachinb91 No, we are just suggesting a blog topic, possible titles and content, you still need to write the complete article yourself. We believe that each and every one can write their own story we just provide the placeholders to get you started.
For example: One of the blog idea is to write about a mistake that you did in your startup journey and this will be some what unique for each and every one.

Can you curate this so it can be content specific?
